It’s easy to feel pressured to defer to people who have power and fame, who are celebrated or who can give us something. But in the kingdom, we are called to show no partiality but to live in mercy. Mercy, real mercy is the act of acknowledging the law and holding people to it while also having faith that they can be transformed.
