Listening, Seeking, and Speaking

Rick walks us through how God’s grace, His “unmerited favor” to send His Son to earth to save and change the world, is a gift we cannot earn and it is to all people. (As seen in the story of the shepherds, who were the first to receive the good news.) In reading the story from the shepherds is their response to hearing the good news: they listened and believed what they heard, they sought to find the truth out for themselves, and they declared what they learned and saw!

Are we going to allow ourselves to be interrupted by what God wants to tell us? And are we willing to seek out the truth even if it is not easily found? And are we willing to speak about the truth once we know what is true by what we have seen and heard?
