Colossians 2

We are called to stand strong against the lies and false ideas in our culture today. God calls us to not be captivated by fine sounding arguments, philosophy, empty deceit, human tradition, or elemental spirits. Jesus disarmed the powers of darkness at the cross, and so only our confidence in Christ has true value. We have opportunities to be faithful and step out of our comfort to actively fight in the battle for human freedom and flourishing using God’s truth.
